આથી રૂબેનના, ગાદના અને મનાશ્શાના અર્ધા કુળસમૂહના લોકોએ કનાનામાં શીલોહ પર ઇસ્રાએલીઓને છોડ્યા અને પાછા પોતાના ગિલયાદ પ્રદેશમાં ગયા. એ પ્રદેશ જે મૂસાએ તેઓને યહોવાની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાંણે આપ્યાં હતાં.
