Joshua 2:17
વિદાય થતાં પહેલાં તે માંણસોએ તેને કહ્યું, “તું જો અમાંરા કહ્યા પ્રમાંણે નહિ કરે તો તેં અમાંરી પાસે જે વચન લીધું છે તેમાંથી અમે મુક્ત થઈ જઈશું.

| said | אֵלֶ֖יהָ | ʾēlêhā | ay-LAY-ha |
| unto | הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֑ים | hāʾănāšîm | ha-uh-na-SHEEM |
| We her, | נְקִיִּ֣ם | nĕqiyyim | neh-kee-YEEM |
| will be blameless | אֲנַ֔חְנוּ | ʾănaḥnû | uh-NAHK-noo |
| oath thine this of | מִשְּׁבֻֽעָתֵ֥ךְ | miššĕbuʿātēk | mee-sheh-voo-ah-TAKE |
| which | הַזֶּ֖ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| thou hast made us swear. | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| הִשְׁבַּעְתָּֽנוּ׃ | hišbaʿtānû | heesh-ba-ta-NOO |
