યહોશુઆએ બધા અનાકીઓનો તેમના નગરો સાથે નાશ કર્યો હતો. તેથી તેઓમાંનું કોઈ પણ ઇસ્રાએલીઓની ભૂમિમાં વચ્યું નહિં. બસ થોડા જ ગાજા, ગાથ અને આશ્દોદમાં બાકી રહ્યાં.
