Joshua 1:16
તે લોકોએ યહોશુઆને ઉત્તરમાં જણાવ્યું, “તમે જે આજ્ઞા અમને આપી છે તે અમે પાળીશું અને તમે જયાં મોકલશો ત્યાં જઈશું.”

| thou commandest | צִוִּיתָ֙נוּ֙ | ṣiwwîtānû | tsee-wee-TA-NOO |
| do, will we us | נַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה | naʿăśe | na-uh-SEH |
| and whithersoever | וְאֶֽל | wĕʾel | veh-EL |
| כָּל | kāl | kahl | |
| sendest thou | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| us, we will go. | תִּשְׁלָחֵ֖נוּ | tišlāḥēnû | teesh-la-HAY-noo |
