તેથી તેઓએ યહોવાને પ્રાર્થના કરી, “હે યહોવા, અમે તને કાલાવાલા કરીએ છીએ, આ માણસનો જીવ લેવા માટે અમે મરી જઇએ એવું ના કરતાં, અમારા માથે નિદોર્ષની હત્યા નાખતો નહિ. કારણ, હે યહોવા, જેમ તમને ઠીક લાગ્યું તેમ તમે કર્યું છે.”
