Jeremiah 3:19
યહોવા કહે છે,“હે ઇસ્રાએલ, ‘મેં વિચાર્યું કે હું તને મારા પુત્ર જેવો ગણું અને તને એક રળિયામણી ભૂમિ, આખી દુનિયામાં સુંદરમાં સુંદર ભૂમિ વારસામાં આપું.’ મેં એમ માન્યું હતું કે, તું મને ‘પિતા’ કહીને બોલાવશે અને મારાથી કદી વિમુખ નહિ થાય.

| land, | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| a goodly | חֶמְדָּ֔ה | ḥemdâ | hem-DA |
| heritage | נַחֲלַ֥ת | naḥălat | na-huh-LAHT |
| hosts the of | צְבִ֖י | ṣĕbî | tseh-VEE |
| of nations? | צִבְא֣וֹת | ṣibʾôt | tseev-OTE |
| said, I and | גּוֹיִ֑ם | gôyim | ɡoh-YEEM |
| Thou shalt call | וָאֹמַ֗ר | wāʾōmar | va-oh-MAHR |
| father; My me, | אָבִי֙ | ʾābiy | ah-VEE |
| and shalt not | תִּקְרְאִו | tiqrĕʾiw | teek-reh-EEV |
| turn away | לִ֔י | lî | lee |
