Jeremiah 27:8
“‘બળવાન પ્રજા અને રાજ્ય, બાબિલની ઝૂંસરી નીચે તમારી ગરદન મૂકો! જે કોઇ પ્રજા તેના ગુલામ બનવા ના પાડશે તેને હું શિક્ષા કરીશ. તે પ્રજા પર હું યુદ્ધ, દુકાળ અને મરકી મોકલીશ જેથી અંતે તે બાબિલના હાથમાં સોંપાઇ જાય.

| Nebuchadnezzar | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| the king | נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר | nĕbûkadneʾṣṣar | neh-voo-hahd-neh-TSAHR |
| of Babylon, | מֶֽלֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| that and | בָּבֶ֔ל | bābel | ba-VEL |
| will not | וְאֵ֨ת | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| put | אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |

| their neck | יִתֵּן֙ | yittēn | yee-TANE |
| yoke the under | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| of the king | צַוָּאר֔וֹ | ṣawwāʾrô | tsa-wa-ROH |
| of Babylon, | בְּעֹ֖ל | bĕʿōl | beh-OLE |
| that | מֶ֣לֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| nation | בָּבֶ֑ל | bābel | ba-VEL |
| will I punish, | בַּחֶרֶב֩ | baḥereb | ba-heh-REV |
| saith | וּבָרָעָ֨ב | ûbārāʿāb | oo-va-ra-AV |
| the Lord, | וּבַדֶּ֜בֶר | ûbaddeber | oo-va-DEH-ver |
| sword, the with | אֶפְקֹ֨ד | ʾepqōd | ef-KODE |
| and with the famine, | עַל | ʿal | al |
| pestilence, the with and | הַגּ֤וֹי | haggôy | HA-ɡoy |
| until | הַהוּא֙ | hahûʾ | ha-HOO |
