Isaiah 45:20
યહોવા કહે છે, “યુદ્ધમાંથી બચી ગયેલી તમે દેશવિદેશની સર્વ પ્રજાઓ એકઠી થઇને આવો. જેઓ લાકડાની મૂર્તિઓને ઉપાડીને ફેરવે છે, તારી શકે એમ નથી એવા દેવની જેઓ પૂજા કરે છે તેઓ મૂરખ છે.

| of the nations: | הַגּוֹיִ֑ם | haggôyim | ha-ɡoh-YEEM |
| they have no knowledge | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| יָדְע֗וּ | yodʿû | yode-OO | |
| that set up | הַנֹּֽשְׂאִים֙ | hannōśĕʾîm | ha-noh-seh-EEM |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the wood | עֵ֣ץ | ʿēṣ | ayts |
| image, graven their of | פִּסְלָ֔ם | pislām | pees-LAHM |
| and pray | וּמִתְפַּלְלִ֔ים | ûmitpallîm | oo-meet-pahl-LEEM |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| god a | אֵ֖ל | ʾēl | ale |
| that cannot | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
