Hosea 1:2
યહોવાનો હોશિયાને આ પહેલો સંદેશો હતો. તેણે કહ્યું “જા અને તે વારાંગનાને પરણ; જેને તેની વારાંગનાવૃતિથી સંતાન થયા તેને પોતાનાં કરી લે; કેમ કે, દેશ યહોવાનો ત્યાગ કરીને વારાંગના જેવું વર્તન કર્યું છે, તેઓ યહોવામાં અશ્રદ્ધાળુ થયા છે.
