Luke 24:10
આ સ્ત્રીઓમાં મગ્દલાની મરિયમ, યોહાન્ના યાકૂબની મા મરિયમ તથા કેટલીએક બીજી સ્ત્રીઓ હતી. આ સ્ત્રીઓએ પ્રેરિતોને જે કંઈ બન્યું હતું તે બધું કહ્યું.

કેટલીક સ્ત્રીઓ વધસ્તંભથી દૂર ઊભી રહીને જોતી હતી. આ સ્ત્રીઓમાં મરિયમ માગ્દલાની, ઈસુકો નાનો ભાઈ યાકૂબ તથા યોસેની મા મરિયમ અને શલોમી હતી. (યાકૂબ તેનો સૌથી નાનો પુત્ર હતો.)

તેની સાથે કેટલીએક સ્ત્રીઓ પણ હતી. ઈસુએ તે સ્ત્રીઓને ભૂંડા આત્માઓના બંધનમાંથી મુક્ત કરીને તેઓને માંદગીમાંથી સાજી કરી હતી. તે સ્ત્રીઓમાંની એકનું નામ મરિયમ હતું, તે મગ્દલા ગામની હતી. જેનામાંથી સાત ભૂત નીકળ્યાં હતાં.

માર્ક 6:30
જે પ્રેરિતોને ઈસુએ ઉપદેશ માટે મોકલ્યા હતા, તે ઈસુ પાસે પાછા આવ્યા. તેઓ ઈસુની આજુબાજુ ભેગા થયા અને તેઓએ જે બધી વસ્તુ કરી અને શીખવ્યું તે વિષે તેને કહ્યું.

ઈસુ અઠવાડિયાના પ્રથમ દિવસે મૂએલામાંથી ઊઠ્યો. ઈસુએ પોતાની જાતે પ્રથમ મરિયમ મગ્દાલાને દર્શન આપ્યા. એક વખત ભૂતકાળમાં ઈસુએ મરિયમમાંથી સાત અશુદ્ધ આત્માઓને બહાર કાઢ્યા હતા.
યોહાન 20:11
પણ મરિયમ કબરની બહારની બાજુ ઊભી રહીને રડતી હતી. જ્યારે તે રડતી હતી, તેણે નીચા નમીને કબરની અંદરની બાજુ નજર કરી.
