רַ֗ק that rahk לְמַ֙עַן֙ the leh-MA-AN דַּ֚עַת generations DA-at דֹּר֣וֹת of doh-ROTE בְּנֵֽי the beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל children yees-ra-ALE לְלַמְּדָ֖ם of leh-la-meh-DAHM מִלְחָמָ֑ה Israel meel-ha-MA רַ֥ק might rahk אֲשֶׁר know, uh-SHER לְפָנִ֖ים to leh-fa-NEEM לֹ֥א teach loh יְדָעֽוּם׃ them yeh-da-OOM -
חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת׀ five huh-MAY-shet סַרְנֵ֣י lords sahr-NAY פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים of feh-leesh-TEEM וְכָל the veh-HAHL הַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ Philistines, ha-keh-na-uh-NEE וְהַצִּ֣ידֹנִ֔י and veh-ha-TSEE-doh-NEE וְהַ֣חִוִּ֔י all veh-HA-hee-WEE יֹשֵׁ֖ב the yoh-SHAVE הַ֣ר Canaanites, hahr הַלְּבָנ֑וֹן and ha-leh-va-NONE מֵהַר֙ the may-HAHR בַּ֣עַל Sidonians, BA-al חֶרְמ֔וֹן and her-MONE עַ֖ד the ad לְב֥וֹא Hivites leh-VOH חֲמָֽת׃ that huh-MAHT -
וַיִּֽהְי֕וּ they va-yee-heh-YOO לְנַסּ֥וֹת were leh-NA-sote בָּ֖ם to bahm אֶת prove et יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yees-ra-ALE לָדַ֗עַת Israel la-DA-at הֲיִשְׁמְעוּ֙ by huh-yeesh-meh-OO אֶת them, et מִצְוֹ֣ת to mee-ts-OTE יְהוָ֔ה know yeh-VA אֲשֶׁר whether uh-SHER צִוָּ֥ה they tsee-WA אֶת would et אֲבוֹתָ֖ם hearken uh-voh-TAHM בְּיַד unto beh-YAHD מֹשֶֽׁה׃ moh-SHEH -
וּבְנֵ֣י the oo-veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל children yees-ra-ALE יָֽשְׁב֖וּ of ya-sheh-VOO בְּקֶ֣רֶב Israel beh-KEH-rev הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑י dwelt ha-keh-na-uh-NEE הַֽחִתִּ֤י among ha-hee-TEE וְהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ the veh-ha-ay-moh-REE וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י Canaanites, veh-ha-peh-ree-ZEE וְהַֽחִוִּ֖י Hittites, veh-ha-hee-WEE וְהַיְבוּסִֽי׃ and veh-hai-voo-SEE -
וַיִּקְח֨וּ they va-yeek-HOO אֶת took et בְּנֽוֹתֵיהֶ֤ם beh-noh-tay-HEM לָהֶם֙ their la-HEM לְנָשִׁ֔ים daughters leh-na-SHEEM וְאֶת to veh-ET בְּנֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם be beh-noh-tay-HEM נָֽתְנ֣וּ their na-teh-NOO לִבְנֵיהֶ֑ם wives, leev-nay-HEM וַיַּֽעַבְד֖וּ and va-ya-av-DOO אֶת gave et אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶֽם׃ their ay-LOH-hay-HEM -
וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ the va-ya-uh-SOO בְנֵֽי children veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל of yees-ra-ALE אֶת Israel et הָרַע֙ did ha-RA בְּעֵינֵ֣י beh-ay-NAY יְהוָ֔ה evil yeh-VA וַֽיִּשְׁכְּח֖וּ in va-yeesh-keh-HOO אֶת the et יְהוָ֣ה sight yeh-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם of ay-loh-hay-HEM וַיַּֽעַבְד֥וּ the va-ya-av-DOO אֶת Lord, et הַבְּעָלִ֖ים and ha-beh-ah-LEEM וְאֶת forgat veh-ET הָֽאֲשֵׁרֽוֹת׃ HA-uh-shay-ROTE -
וַיִּֽחַר the va-YEE-hahr אַ֤ף anger af יְהוָה֙ of yeh-VA בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the beh-yees-ra-ALE וַֽיִּמְכְּרֵ֗ם Lord va-yeem-keh-RAME בְּיַד֙ was beh-YAHD כּוּשַׁ֣ן hot koo-SHAHN רִשְׁעָתַ֔יִם against reesh-ah-TA-yeem מֶ֖לֶךְ Israel, MEH-lek אֲרַ֣ם and uh-RAHM נַֽהֲרָ֑יִם he na-huh-RA-yeem וַיַּֽעַבְד֧וּ sold va-ya-av-DOO בְנֵֽי them veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל into yees-ra-ALE אֶת the et כּוּשַׁ֥ן hand koo-SHAHN רִשְׁעָתַ֖יִם of reesh-ah-TA-yeem שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה Chushan-rishathaim sheh-moh-NEH שָׁנִֽים׃ king sha-NEEM -
וַיִּזְעֲק֤וּ when va-yeez-uh-KOO בְנֵֽי the veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ children yees-ra-ALE אֶל of el יְהוָ֔ה Israel yeh-VA וַיָּ֨קֶם cried va-YA-kem יְהוָ֥ה unto yeh-VA מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ the moh-SHEE-ah לִבְנֵ֥י Lord, leev-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל the yees-ra-ALE וַיּֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֑ם Lord va-yoh-shee-AME אֵ֚ת raised ate עָתְנִיאֵ֣ל up ote-nee-ALE בֶּן a ben קְנַ֔ז deliverer keh-NAHZ אֲחִ֥י to uh-HEE כָלֵ֖ב the ha-LAVE הַקָּטֹ֥ן children ha-ka-TONE מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ of mee-MEH-noo -
וַתְּהִ֨י the va-teh-HEE עָלָ֥יו Spirit ah-LAV רֽוּחַ of ROO-ak יְהוָה֮ the yeh-VA וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֣ט Lord va-yeesh-POTE אֶת came et יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ upon yees-ra-ALE וַיֵּצֵא֙ him, va-yay-TSAY לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה and la-meel-ha-MA וַיִּתֵּ֤ן he va-yee-TANE יְהוָה֙ judged yeh-VA בְּיָד֔וֹ beh-ya-DOH אֶת Israel, et כּוּשַׁ֥ן and koo-SHAHN רִשְׁעָתַ֖יִם went reesh-ah-TA-yeem מֶ֣לֶךְ out MEH-lek אֲרָ֑ם to uh-RAHM וַתָּ֣עָז war: va-TA-oze יָד֔וֹ and ya-DOH עַ֖ל the al כּוּשַׁ֥ן Lord koo-SHAHN רִשְׁעָתָֽיִם׃ delivered reesh-ah-TA-yeem -
וַתִּשְׁקֹ֥ט the va-teesh-KOTE הָאָ֖רֶץ land ha-AH-rets אַרְבָּעִ֣ים had ar-ba-EEM שָׁנָ֑ה rest sha-NA וַיָּ֖מָת forty va-YA-mote עָתְנִיאֵ֥ל years. ote-nee-ALE בֶּן And ben קְנַֽז׃ Othniel keh-NAHZ -
וַיֹּסִ֙פוּ֙ the va-yoh-SEE-FOO בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת Israel la-uh-SOTE הָרַ֖ע did ha-RA בְּעֵינֵ֣י evil beh-ay-NAY יְהוָ֑ה again yeh-VA וַיְחַזֵּ֨ק in vai-ha-ZAKE יְהוָ֜ה the yeh-VA אֶת sight et עֶגְל֤וֹן of eɡ-LONE מֶֽלֶךְ the MEH-lek מוֹאָב֙ Lord: moh-AV עַל and al יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the yees-ra-ALE עַ֛ל Lord al כִּֽי strengthened kee עָשׂ֥וּ ah-SOO אֶת Eglon et הָרַ֖ע the ha-RA בְּעֵינֵ֥י king beh-ay-NAY יְהוָֽה׃ of yeh-VA -
וַיֶּֽאֱסֹ֣ף he va-yeh-ay-SOFE אֵלָ֔יו gathered ay-LAV אֶת unto et בְּנֵ֥י him beh-NAY עַמּ֖וֹן AH-mone וַֽעֲמָלֵ֑ק the va-uh-ma-LAKE וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ children va-YAY-lek וַיַּךְ֙ of va-yahk אֶת Ammon et יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל and yees-ra-ALE וַיִּֽירְשׁ֖וּ Amalek, va-yee-reh-SHOO אֶת and et עִ֥יר went eer הַתְּמָרִֽים׃ and ha-teh-ma-REEM -

וַיַּעַשׂ֩ Ehud va-ya-AS ל֨וֹ made loh אֵה֜וּד him ay-HOOD חֶ֗רֶב a HEH-rev וְלָ֛הּ dagger veh-LA שְׁנֵ֥י which sheh-NAY פֵי֖וֹת had fay-YOTE גֹּ֣מֶד two ɡOH-med אָרְכָּ֑הּ edges, ore-KA וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר of va-yahk-ɡORE אוֹתָהּ֙ a oh-TA מִתַּ֣חַת cubit mee-TA-haht לְמַדָּ֔יו length; leh-ma-DAV עַ֖ל and al יֶ֥רֶךְ he YEH-rek יְמִינֽוֹ׃ did yeh-mee-NOH -

וְאֵה֥וּד Ehud veh-ay-HOOD נִמְלַ֖ט escaped neem-LAHT עַ֣ד while ad הִֽתְמַהְמְהָ֑ם they hee-teh-ma-meh-HAHM וְהוּא֙ tarried, veh-HOO עָבַ֣ר and ah-VAHR אֶת passed et הַפְּסִילִ֔ים beyond ha-peh-see-LEEM וַיִּמָּלֵ֖ט va-yee-ma-LATE הַשְּׂעִירָֽתָה׃ the ha-seh-ee-RA-ta -
וַיְהִ֣י it vai-HEE בְּבוֹא֔וֹ came beh-voh-OH וַיִּתְקַ֥ע to va-yeet-KA בַּשּׁוֹפָ֖ר pass, ba-shoh-FAHR בְּהַ֣ר when beh-HAHR אֶפְרָ֑יִם he ef-RA-yeem וַיֵּֽרְד֨וּ was va-yay-reh-DOO עִמּ֧וֹ come, EE-moh בְנֵֽי that veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל he yees-ra-ALE מִן blew meen הָהָ֖ר a ha-HAHR וְה֥וּא trumpet veh-HOO לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ in leef-nay-HEM -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֲלֵהֶם֙ said uh-lay-HEM רִדְפ֣וּ unto reed-FOO אַֽחֲרַ֔י them, ah-huh-RAI כִּֽי Follow kee נָתַ֨ן after na-TAHN יְהוָ֧ה me: yeh-VA אֶת for et אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֛ם the oh-yeh-vay-HEM אֶת Lord et מוֹאָ֖ב hath moh-AV בְּיֶדְכֶ֑ם delivered beh-yed-HEM וַיֵּֽרְד֣וּ va-yay-reh-DOO אַֽחֲרָ֗יו your ah-huh-RAV וַֽיִּלְכְּד֞וּ enemies va-yeel-keh-DOO אֶֽת et מַעְבְּר֤וֹת the ma-beh-ROTE הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ Moabites ha-yahr-DANE לְמוֹאָ֔ב into leh-moh-AV וְלֹֽא your veh-LOH נָתְנ֥וּ hand. note-NOO אִ֖ישׁ And eesh לַֽעֲבֹֽר׃ they LA-uh-VORE -
