“તે દિવસે ઇસ્રાએલમાંથી યાકૂબની જાહોજલાલી જતી રહેશે અને ગરીબી આવી પડશે અને તેની સમૃદ્ધિ ઓસરી જશે,

મનાશ્શાના વંશજો અને એફ્રાઇમના વંશજો એક બીજાને બચકાં ભરે છે અને બંને ભેગા થઇને યહૂદાને ખાવા ધાય છે, આને લીધે યહોવાનો રોષ ઓછો થયો નથી અને તેનો હાથ હજી ઉગામેલો જ રહ્યો છે.

યુદ્ધમાં કપાઇને પડ્યા વગર કે કેદ પકડાઇ નીચી મૂંડીએ ઘસડાયા વિના તમારો છૂટકો જ નથી. તમારા કમોર્ને લીધે યહોવાનો રોષ નહિ ઉતરે. તેનો હાથ હજી ઉગામેલો જ રહેશે.
યશાયા 24:13
પૃથ્વી પરના લોકો, જાણે જૈતુન વૃક્ષને ઝૂંડી નાખ્યા હોય તેવા. અથવા દ્રાક્ષ ચૂંટી લીધા પછી દેખાતા દ્રાક્ષવેલા જેવા લાગે છે.

પૃથ્વીના બધા છેડેથી આપણે “ન્યાયીનો મહિમા થાઓ” તેમ સાંભળીશું પણ અફસોસ! “હું તો ક્ષીણ થતો જઉં છું, મારા માટે કોઇ આશા નથી. દગાબાજી કરનારા દગાબાજી કરે જાય છે અને દિવસે દિવસે તેઓની દગાબાજીમાં વધારો થતો જાય છે.
