મોટો ખંડ બહારના ચોકની સામે આવેલો હતો. રસ્તાની બંને બાજુની ભીતો ઉપર ખજૂરીના વૃક્ષો કોતરેલા હતા. આઠ પગથિયાં ચઢીને એ દરવાજે પહોંચાતું હતું.
