Ezekiel 32:21
“જ્યારે તે પોતાના સર્વ મિત્રો સાથે કબરમાં જશે ત્યારે પરાક્રમી યોદ્ધાઓ ત્યાં તેઓનું સ્વાગત કરશે. જે પ્રજાઓનો તેણે ધિક્કાર કર્યો હતો તેઓની સાથે તે રહેશે. એ બધા તરવારથી માર્યા ગયેલાઓ છે.

પરંતુ પ્રાચીનકાળમાં રાજાઓને શસ્ત્રોથી સજ્જ કરીને, તેમની ઢાલ તેમના શરીર પર મૂકીને તથા તેમની તરવાર તેમના માથાં નીચે મૂકીને મહાન આદર સાથે તેઓને દફનાવવામાં આવતાં હતાં. પરંતુ તું આદર સાથે મૃત્યુ પામીશ નહિ, પરંતુ તારા પાપ તારા હાડકાં પર રહેશે, કારણ જ્યારે તું જીવતો હતો ત્યારે તેં લોકોને ખુબજ હેરાન કર્યા હતા.

તેને હાદેસમાં મોકલવામાં આવ્યો અને ત્યાં ઘણી પીડા ભોગવવી પડી. તે ધનવાન માણસે દૂરથી ઈબ્રાહિમને લાજરસ સાથે જોયો.
હઝકિયેલ 32:24
“એલામના મહાન રાજાઓ પણ ત્યાં પોતાના લોકોની સાથે મૃત્યુ પામેલા છે. તેઓ જીવતા હતા ત્યારે પ્રજાઓ માટે ત્રાસદાયક હતા. પરંતુ હવે તેઓ નરકમાં સબડે છે કબરમાં ઊતરી જનાર સામાન્ય માણસોની જેમ તેઓ લજ્જિત થયા છે.
હઝકિયેલ 32:19
તેને કહે, “હે મિસર, તું સૌદર્યમાં કોનાથી શ્રેષ્ઠ છે? નીચે ઉતરી જા, અને બેસુન્નતોની કબરમાં જઇને પોઢી જા.”

તૃણ જેમ તણખાથી બળી જાય તેમ બળવાન માણસો પણ પોતાના દુષ્કૃત્યોથી બળી જશે. અને કોઇ હોલાવવા નહિ આવે.
નીતિવચનો 14:32
જ્યારે મુશ્કેલીઓ આવે છે, દુરાચારીનું પતન થાય છે પરંતુ ન્યાયી વ્યકિત પોતાના મૃત્યુમાં પણ આશા રાખે છે.

એકાએક તેમના પર મોત આવો, તેઓ જીવતા જ શેઓલમાં ઉતરી પડો, કારણ, તેઓનાં ઘરોમાં પાપ થાય છે, તેઓનાં અંતરનાં ઊંડાણોમાં દુષ્ટતા છે.
