વેલો વધવા લાગ્યો અને તે વધીને ઊંચો ન થયો પણ બધી દિશામાં ફેલાઇ ગયો. તેની શાખાઓ ઉગી ત્યાં નવા ફણગાં ફૂટયાં અને તેનાં મૂળ ઊંડા ગયાં. આખો વેલો ડાળીઓ અને કૂંપળોમાં ફેલાઇ ગયો.
