અમે ગિબયાહની વાતમાં આ પ્રમાંણે કરવા ઈચ્છીએ છીએ. અમે ચિઠ્ઠી નાખીને ગિબયાહ ઉપર હુમલો કરવા માંટે માંણસો પસંદ કરીશું.

પછી પ્રેરિતોએ બેમાંથી એકની પસંદગી કરવા માટે ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી. પ્રભુની ઈચ્છાનુસાર માથ્થિયાસના નામની ચિઠ્ઠી નીકળી. તેથી તે બીજા અગિયારની સાથે પ્રેરિત થયો.
