Genesis 41:38
“આ યોજનાને પાર પાડવા માંટે યૂસફ યોગ્ય માંણસ છે. એનાથી સારો માંણસ આપણને ન મળે, તેની અંદરનો દેવનો આત્માં તેને ઘણો શાણો બનાવે છે!”

દારિયેલ 4:18
“મેં, રાજા નબૂખાદનેસ્સારે, આ સ્વપ્ન જોયું હતું અને હે બેલ્ટશાસ્સાર, હવે તું મને તેનો અર્થ જણાવ, કારણકે બીજું કોઇ જ મને એનો અર્થ સમજાવી શકે એમ નથી. મારા રાજયના ડાહ્યાં માણસો નિષ્ફળ ગયા છે. તારામાં પવિત્ર દેવનો આત્મા વસે છે, તેથી તું સમજાવી શકે એમ છે.”

તમારા રાજ્યમાં એક માણસ એવો છે, જેનામાં પવિત્ર દેવનો આત્મા વસે છે. તમારા પિતાના સમયમાં એ માણસ દિવ્યજ્ઞાન, બુદ્ધિમતા, અને હોશિયારી માટે જાણીતો હતો અને તમારા પિતા નબૂખાદનેસ્સારે એને જાદુગરો, મંત્રવિદોનો અધ્યક્ષ બનાવ્યો હતો.
દારિયેલ 5:14
મેં એમ સાંભળ્યું છે કે, તારામાં પવિત્ર દૈવી આત્મા છે, અને તું દિવ્યજ્ઞાન, બુદ્ધિમતા, અને હોશિયારી ધરાવે છે.

આખરે દાનિયેલ મારી આગળ આવ્યો, મારા દેવના નામ પરથી તેનું નામ મેં બેલ્ટશાસ્સાર રાખ્યું હતું. એ માણસોમાં પવિત્ર દેવોનો આત્મા છે. મેં તેને મારા સ્વપ્નની વાત કરી.
દારિયેલ 6:3
પોતાનામાં રહેલી ઉત્તમ શકિતને કારણે દાનિયેલ બીજા અધિક્ષકો અને સૂબાઓ કરતાં વધારે નામાંકિત થયો અને રાજાએ તેને આખા રાજ્યોનો ઉપરી બનાવવાનો વિચાર કર્યો.
