તેઓએ રાજાના કુટુંબને તથા તેના સૈન્યને નદી પાર કરાવવા સખત પરિશ્રમ કર્યો અને શકય તેટલી સહાય કરી. રાજા નદી ઓળંગવાની તૈયારી કરતો હતો ત્યારે શિમઈ તેમને પગે પડયો.
