પણ પેલા ગરીબ માંણસ પાસે એક નાની ઘેટી સિવાય કંઈ જ નહોતું. તેણે ઘણી મુશ્કેલીઓ વેઠીને ખરીધું હતું. તે ઘેટું તેનાં બાળકોને ખૂબ પસંદ હતું. તે તેના ઘરમાં તેના છોકરાઓ ભેગી જ મોટી થતી હતી. તે તેની થાળીમાંથી જમતી, તેના પ્યાલામાંથી પાણી પીતી અને તેના ખોળામાં સૂતી હતી. તે તેને દીકરીની જેમ ઊછેરતો હતો.
