યહોવાએ આશ્દોદના લોકોને સખત સજા કરીને તેમને ભયભીત બનાવી દીધા; તેમણે આશ્દોદ અને તેની આસપાસના પ્રદેશના લોકોમાં ગૂંમડાંનો રોગચાળો ફેલાવી દીધો.
