ખ્રિસ્તનો આત્મા તે પ્રબોધકોમાં હતો. અને તે આત્મા ખ્રિસ્તને સહન કરવાની વ્યથા વિષે તેમજ તે વ્યથા પછી આવનાર મહિમા વિષે વાત કરતો હતો. આ આત્મા જે દર્શાવતો હતો તે વિષે સમજવાનો તે પ્રબોધકોએ પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો. તેઓ આ ઘટના ક્યારે ઘટશે અને તે વખતે દુનિયા કેવી હશે તે સમજવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો.
