Genesis 48:4
પછી આશીર્વાદ આપીને કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘જો, હું તારો વંશવેલો વધારીશ, તારાં સંતાનોની વૃધ્ધિ કરીશ; અને તારા પછી તારા વંશજોને આ દેશના કાયમના ધણી બનાવીશ.’

| me, Behold, | הִנְנִ֤י | hinnî | heen-NEE |
| fruitful, thee make will I | מַפְרְךָ֙ | maprĕkā | mahf-reh-HA |
| and multiply | וְהִרְבִּיתִ֔ךָ | wĕhirbîtikā | veh-heer-bee-TEE-ha |
| make will I and thee, | וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ | ûnĕtattîkā | oo-neh-ta-TEE-ha |
| multitude a thee of | לִקְהַ֣ל | liqhal | leek-HAHL |
| of people; | עַמִּ֑ים | ʿammîm | ah-MEEM |
| and will give | וְנָ֨תַתִּ֜י | wĕnātattî | veh-NA-ta-TEE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| this | הָאָ֧רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| land | הַזֹּ֛את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| to thy seed | לְזַרְעֲךָ֥ | lĕzarʿăkā | leh-zahr-uh-HA |
| after thee | אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ | ʾaḥărêkā | ah-huh-RAY-ha |
| for an everlasting | אֲחֻזַּ֥ת | ʾăḥuzzat | uh-hoo-ZAHT |
| possession. | עוֹלָֽם׃ | ʿôlām | oh-LAHM |
