Genesis 42:21
તેઓ એકબીજાને કહેવા લાગ્યા. “ખરેખર આપણે આપણા ભાઈની બાબતમાં ગુનેગાર છીએ. કારણ કે જયારે તેણે આપણને કાલાવાલા કર્યા હતા, ને આપણે તેને થતું કષ્ટ જોયું હતું, છતાં પણ આપણે સાંભળ્યું નહિ; એટલા માંટે જ આ સંકટ આપણા પર આવી પડ્યું છે.”

| concerning | עַל | ʿal | al |
| our brother, | אָחִינוּ֒ | ʾāḥînû | ah-hee-NOO |
| in that | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| we saw | רָאִ֜ינוּ | rāʾînû | ra-EE-noo |
| the anguish | צָרַ֥ת | ṣārat | tsa-RAHT |
