Genesis 37:20
ચાલો તક મળતાં આપણે તેને માંરી નાખીએ અને કોઈ હવડ કૂવામાં નાખી દઈએ. અને આપણે આપણા પિતાને કહીશું કે, તેને કોઈ જંગલી જાનવર ખાઈ ગયું છે. પછી આપણે જોઈશું કે, એના સ્વપ્નોનું શું થાય છે?”

| pit, | הַבֹּר֔וֹת | habbōrôt | ha-boh-ROTE |
| say, will we and | וְאָמַ֕רְנוּ | wĕʾāmarnû | veh-ah-MAHR-noo |
| Some evil | חַיָּ֥ה | ḥayyâ | ha-YA |
| beast | רָעָ֖ה | rāʿâ | ra-AH |
| hath devoured | אֲכָלָ֑תְהוּ | ʾăkālātĕhû | uh-ha-LA-teh-hoo |
| see shall we and him: | וְנִרְאֶ֕ה | wĕnirʾe | veh-neer-EH |
| what | מַה | ma | ma |
| will become | יִּֽהְי֖וּ | yihĕyû | yee-heh-YOO |
