Genesis 21:14
તેથી બીજે દિવસે વહેલી સવારે ઇબ્રાહિમે રોટલા અને પાણીના મશક લઈને હાગારને આપ્યાં અને છોકરાંને ખભે ચઢાવીને તેને વિદાય કરી. તે ચાલી ગઈ અને બેર-શેબાના રણમાં ભટકવા લાગી.

| it unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Hagar, | הָ֠גָר | hāgor | HA-ɡore |
| putting | שָׂ֧ם | śām | sahm |
| it on | עַל | ʿal | al |
| her shoulder, | שִׁכְמָ֛הּ | šikmāh | sheek-MA |
| and the child, | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| away: her sent and | הַיֶּ֖לֶד | hayyeled | ha-YEH-led |
| and she departed, | וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֶ֑הָ | wayšallĕḥehā | va-sha-leh-HEH-ha |
| wandered and | וַתֵּ֣לֶךְ | wattēlek | va-TAY-lek |
| in the wilderness | וַתֵּ֔תַע | wattētaʿ | va-TAY-ta |
