Genesis 19:28
ઇબ્રાહિમે સદોમ અને ગમોરાહ નગર તરફ નજર કરી અને નદી કાંઠાના સમગ્ર પ્રદેશ તરફ જોયું તો એમાંથી ધુમાંડો ઉપર ચઢતો હતો, જાણે ભઠ્ઠીનો ધુમાંડો ન હોય!

| of the plain, | הַכִּכָּ֑ר | hakkikkār | ha-kee-KAHR |
| beheld, and | וַיַּ֗רְא | wayyar | va-YAHR |
| and, lo, | וְהִנֵּ֤ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| the smoke | עָלָה֙ | ʿālāh | ah-LA |
| of the country | קִיטֹ֣ר | qîṭōr | kee-TORE |
| up went | הָאָ֔רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| as the smoke | כְּקִיטֹ֖ר | kĕqîṭōr | keh-kee-TORE |
| of a furnace. | הַכִּבְשָֽׁן׃ | hakkibšān | ha-keev-SHAHN |
