Genesis 1:9
પછી દેવે કહ્યું, “પૃથ્વી પરનું પાણી એક જગ્યાએ ભેગું થાઓ જેથી સૂકી જમીન નજરે પડે.” અને એ જ પ્રમાંણે થયું.

| the heaven | מִתַּ֤חַת | mittaḥat | mee-TA-haht |
| be gathered together | הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-YEEM |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| one | מָק֣וֹם | māqôm | ma-KOME |
| place, | אֶחָ֔ד | ʾeḥād | eh-HAHD |
| and let the dry | וְתֵרָאֶ֖ה | wĕtērāʾe | veh-tay-ra-EH |
| appear: land | הַיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה | hayyabbāšâ | ha-ya-ba-SHA |
| and it was | וַֽיְהִי | wayhî | VA-hee |
| so. | כֵֽן׃ | kēn | hane |
