Ezra 5:8
આપને વિદિત થાય કે, અમે યહૂદા પ્રાંતમાં મહાન દેવના મંદિરમાં ગયાં હતા, તે મંદિર પથ્થરની મોટી શિલાઓથી બાંધવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે, એની ભીંતોએ લાકડાની તખ્તીઓ જડવામાં આવે છે, ખૂબ સફળતાપૂર્વક અને ઉત્સાહથી કામ ચાલી રહ્યું છે.

“ઇરાનના રાજા કોરેશ જાહેર કરે છે કે:આકાશના દેવ યહોવાએ મને પૃથ્વી પરનાં બધાં રાજ્યો આપ્યાં છે, અને તેણે પોતે મને તેને માટે યહૂદામાં આવેલ યરૂશાલેમમાં મંદિર બંધાવવાની જવાબદારી સોંપી છે.
Deuteronomy 32:31
અન્ય પ્રજાઓ પાસે આપણા ખડક સમ ખડક નથી, આપણા શત્રુઓ પણ તે જાણે છે.
