Ezekiel 26:17
તેઓ તારે માટે આ મરશિયા ગાશે;“‘ઓ વિખ્યાત નગરી! આ તે તારો કેવો વિનાશ તું સમુદ્રમાંથી સાફ થઇ ગઇ! તું અને તારા વતનીઓ સમુદ્ર પર ગવિર્ષ્ઠ હતાં. અને આખા સાગરકાંઠાના વતનીઓ તારાથી ડરતા રહેતા હતા.

| of seafaring men, | נוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת | nôšebet | noh-SHEH-vet |
| renowned the | מִיַּמִּ֑ים | miyyammîm | mee-ya-MEEM |
| city, | הָעִ֣יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| which | הַהֻלָּ֗לָה | hahullālâ | ha-hoo-LA-la |
| wast | אֲשֶׁר֩ | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| strong | הָיְתָ֨ה | hāytâ | hai-TA |
| sea, the in | חֲזָקָ֤ה | ḥăzāqâ | huh-za-KA |
| she | בַיָּם֙ | bayyām | va-YAHM |
| inhabitants, her and | הִ֣יא | hîʾ | hee |
| which | וְיֹשְׁבֶ֔יהָ | wĕyōšĕbêhā | veh-yoh-sheh-VAY-ha |
| cause | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| their terror | נָתְנ֥וּ | notnû | note-NOO |
