Ezekiel 30:6
યહોવા મારા માલિકના આ વચન છે: “‘મિસરના સર્વ મિત્ર રાજ્યોનું પતન થશે અને તેના સાર્મથ્યના અભિમાનનો અંત આવશે. ઉત્તરમાં મિગ્દોલથી તે દક્ષિણમાં આસ્વાન સુધીના સર્વ તરવારથી નાશ પામશે.” એમ યહોવા મારા માલિક જાહેર કરે છે.

મિસરીઓ પણ માણસ છે, તેઓ દેવ નથી; તેમના ઘોડા પણ માંસના બનેલા છે, અમર નથી. જ્યારે યહોવા હાથ ઉગામશે ત્યારે મદદ કરનાર ઠોકર ખાશે અને મદદ લેનાર પડી જશે, અને તેઓ બધા જ એકી સાથે સમાપ્ત થઇ જશે.

તેને પક્ષે કૂશ અને મિસરની સૈનાનું અમાપ બળ હતું. અને પૂટ તથા લૂબીઓને બોલાવીને તે સહાય પ્રાપ્ત કરી શકતું હતું.
