યહોવા તેમના પર જે ભયાનક આફતો લાવ્યા તે યાદ કરો. તમેે તમાંરી જાતે તે બનતા જોયું હતું. મિસરમાંથી તમને મુકત કરાવવા માંટે દેવે પોતાના પ્રચંડ બળ અને સાર્મથ્યનો ઉપયોગ કરીને જે પરચો બતાવ્યો હતો અને અદૃભૂત કૃત્યો કર્યા હતા તે યાદ કરો. તમે જે લોકોથી ડરો છો તેઓની સામે યહોવા દેવ એવું જ બળ વાપરશે.

“બઆલ-પેઓરમાં યહોવાએ જે કંઈ કર્યુ તે તમે પ્રત્યક્ષ જોયું છે. તમાંરા દેવ યહોવાએ તમાંરામાંથી જે કોઈ બઆલ દેવની પૂજા કરવા લાગ્યા હતા તે બધાનો સંહાર કર્યો.
