Acts 27:11
પરંતુ કપ્તાન અને વહાણના માલિકે પાઉલે જે કંઈ કહ્યું તે માન્યું નહિ અને લશ્કરના સૂબેદારે જે કપ્તાને અને વહાણના માલિકે કહ્યું તે માન્યું.

તે માણસોએ ઘણા દિવસો સુધી કંઈ ખાધું નહિ. પછી એક દિવસ પાઉલ તેઓની આગળ ઊભો રહ્યો અને બોલ્યો, “માણસો, મેં તમને ક્રીત નહિ છોડવાનું કહ્યું હતું. તમે મને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળ્યો હોત તો પછી તમને આ બધું નુકસાન અને ખોટ થાત નહિ.
Hebrews 11:7
નૂહે પણ દેવમાં વિશ્વાસ રાખ્યો અને જે વસ્તુ તેણે જોઈ નહોતી એવી બાબતોની ચેતવણી તેને આપવામાં આવી, ત્યારે તેણે પોતાના પરિવારને બચાવવા માટે દેવનો ડર રાખીને વિશ્વાસથી પોતાના પરિવારના તારણ માટે વહાણ તૈયાર કર્યુ. તેથી તેણે જગતને દોષિત ઠરાવ્યું અને વિશ્વાસથી જે ન્યાયીપણું મળે છે તેનો તે વારસો થયો.
Revelation 18:17
આ બધી સંપતિ એક કલાકમાં નષ્ટ થઈ!’“સર્વ નાખુદા, બધા લોકો જે વહાણોમાં સફર કરનારા છે, બધા જ ખલાસીઓ અને તે બધા લોકો જે સમુદ્ર માર્ગે પૈસા કમાનારા છે તેઓ બાબિલોનથી દૂર ઊભા રહ્યા.
