Ecclesiastes 8:8
તેનો પોતાના આત્માને રોકવાની શકિત કોઇ માણસમાં હોતી નથી; અને મૃત્યુકાળ ઉપર કોઇ પણ ને સત્તા નથી; કોઇ પોતાના માટે બીજા કોઇને તે યુદ્ધમાં મોકલી શકે નહિ. અને જે તે કરે છે તેને દુષ્ટ બચાવી શકતો નથી.

Deuteronomy 20:1
“જયારે તમે યુદ્ધમાં જાઓ અને તમાંરા દુશ્મનો સામે યુદ્ધે ચઢો અને તમાંરા કરતાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં રથો, ઘોડાઓ અને સેના જુઓ તો ગભરાઇ જશો નહિ, કારણ કે, તમને મિસરમાંથી બહાર લાવનાર તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા તમાંરી સાથે રહેશે.
