Ecclesiastes 2:19
કોઇ કહી શકશે ખરું કે મારો વારસ જ્ઞાની થશે કે મૂર્ખ? છતાં જેના માટે મેં આ દુનિયામાં પરિશ્રમ કર્યો અને મારા જ્ઞાનનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો તેનો ધણી તે બનશે. પરંતુ આ પણ વ્યર્થતા છે.

| rule have he shall yet | וְיִשְׁלַט֙ | wĕyišlaṭ | veh-yeesh-LAHT |
| over all | בְּכָל | bĕkāl | beh-HAHL |
| labour my | עֲמָלִ֔י | ʿămālî | uh-ma-LEE |
| wherein I have laboured, | שֶֽׁעָמַ֥לְתִּי | šeʿāmaltî | sheh-ah-MAHL-tee |
| wise myself shewed have I wherein and | וְשֶׁחָכַ֖מְתִּי | wĕšeḥākamtî | veh-sheh-ha-HAHM-tee |
| under | תַּ֣חַת | taḥat | TA-haht |
| sun. the | הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ | haššāmeš | ha-SHA-mesh |
| This | גַּם | gam | ɡahm |
| is also | זֶ֖ה | ze | zeh |
| vanity. | הָֽבֶל׃ | hābel | HA-vel |
