Deuteronomy 9:4
“તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા તેમને તમાંરી આગળથી હાંકી કાંઢે ત્યારે તમે એમ ન માંની લેશો કે, ‘અમે સારા છીએ તેથી યહોવાએ અમને આ પ્રદેશનો કબજો અપાવ્યો છે.’ એ લોકો દુષ્ટ છે તેથી યહોવા તેઓને હાંકી કાઢે છે.”
