Deuteronomy 29:19
“તમાંરામાં એવી કોઈ વ્યકિત ના હોવી જોઈએ, જે આજ્ઞાભંગની સજાનાં વચનો સાંભળ્યા છતાં તેને ગંભીરતાથી ન સ્વીકારે અને એવું વિચારે કે મન ફાવે તે રીતે ચાલીશ છતાં માંરું કશું અહિત નહિ થાય! કારણ, સૂકા ભેગું લીલું પણ બળી જશે.

| curse, | הַזֹּ֗את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| that he bless himself | וְהִתְבָּרֵ֨ךְ | wĕhitbārēk | veh-heet-ba-RAKE |
| heart, his in | בִּלְבָב֤וֹ | bilbābô | beel-va-VOH |
| saying, | לֵאמֹר֙ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| I shall have | שָׁל֣וֹם | šālôm | sha-LOME |
| peace, | יִֽהְיֶה | yihĕye | YEE-heh-yeh |
| though | לִּ֔י | lî | lee |
| I walk | כִּ֛י | kî | kee |
| imagination the in | בִּשְׁרִר֥וּת | bišrirût | beesh-ree-ROOT |
| of mine heart, | לִבִּ֖י | libbî | lee-BEE |
| to | אֵלֵ֑ךְ | ʾēlēk | ay-LAKE |
| add | לְמַ֛עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| drunkenness | סְפ֥וֹת | sĕpôt | seh-FOTE |
| to | הָֽרָוָ֖ה | hārāwâ | ha-ra-VA |
