Deuteronomy 28:1
“આજે હું તમને તમાંરા યહોવા દેવની આ બધી આજ્ઞાઓ કરું છું તે સર્વનું પાલન કરીને તમાંરા દેવ યહોવાનું કહ્યું, નિષ્ઠાપૂર્વક અનુસરશો તો તે તમને પૃથ્વીની બધી પ્રજાઓમાં ઉચ્ચ સ્થાને સ્થાપશે,
| And it shall come to pass, | וְהָיָ֗ה | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| if | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| thou shalt hearken | שָׁמ֤וֹעַ | šāmôaʿ | sha-MOH-ah |
| diligently | תִּשְׁמַע֙ | tišmaʿ | teesh-MA |
| voice the unto | בְּקוֹל֙ | bĕqôl | beh-KOLE |
| of the Lord | יְהוָ֣ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| thy God, | אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
| observe to | לִשְׁמֹ֤ר | lišmōr | leesh-MORE |
| and to do | לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ | laʿăśôt | la-uh-SOTE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| his commandments | מִצְוֹתָ֔יו | miṣwōtāyw | mee-ts-oh-TAV |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֛ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I | אָֽנֹכִ֥י | ʾānōkî | ah-noh-HEE |
| command | מְצַוְּךָ֖ | mĕṣawwĕkā | meh-tsa-weh-HA |
| day, this thee | הַיּ֑וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| that the Lord | וּנְתָ֨נְךָ֜ | ûnĕtānĕkā | oo-neh-TA-neh-HA |
| God thy | יְהוָ֤ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| will set | אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-HA |
| thee on high | עֶלְי֔וֹן | ʿelyôn | el-YONE |
| above | עַ֖ל | ʿal | al |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| nations | גּוֹיֵ֥י | gôyê | ɡoh-YAY |
| of the earth: | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
