“પછી રાત્રે મેં મારા સંદર્શનમાં એક ચોથું પ્રાણી જોયું. તેનું વર્ણન થઇ ન શકે તેવું ભયાનક અને મજબૂત તે હતું. તે તેના શિકારને લોખંડના મોટા દાંત વડે ચીરીને ખાતું હતું. અને બીજાઓને પોતાના પગ નીચે કચડી નાખતું હતું. બીજા બધા પ્રાણીઓ કરતાં તે ઘણું જ વધારે ક્રુર અને ઘાતકી હતું અને તેને દશ શિંગડાં હતાં.

Daniel 8:7
મેં તેને મેંઢાની પાસે આવતો જોયો. તે મેંઢા પર ક્રોધે ભરાયો હતો. તેણે પૂરા બળથી મેંઢા ઉપર હુમલો કર્યો અને તેના બંને શિંગડાં ભાંગી નાખ્યાં. મેંઢો બિલકુલ લાચાર બની ગયો. બકરાએ તેને નીચે પછાડી દીધો અને તેને પગ તળે કચડી નાખ્યો, કેમકે તેને બકરાથી બચાવનાર કોઇ જ ન હતું.

Daniel 11:28
“‘પછી તે પુષ્કળ દ્રવ્ય લઇને પોતાને દેશ પાછો જશે; પણ અંત:કરણમાં પવિત્ર કરાર પ્રત્યે દ્વેષ હશે, તે મરજીમાં આવે તેમ વર્તશે અને પોતાને દેશ પાછો ચાલ્યો જશે.

Daniel 8:24
તે મહા બળવાન હશે અને ભારે વિનાશ નોતરશે. તે જે પણ કરશે, તેમાં તે સફળ થશે. તેની સામે થનારા શકિતશાળી સૈન્યોનો પણ તે નાશ કરશે અને દેવના લોકોને હિંસા દ્વારા નાશ કરશે.

Daniel 11:30
કારણકે પશ્ચિમમાંથી આવતાં રોમન યુદ્ધના વહાણો તેની વિરૂદ્ધ આવશે; તેથી તે ગભરાઇને પાછો જશે, ને પવિત્ર કરાર વિરૂદ્ધ તેને ક્રોધ ચઢશે, અને રોષે ભરાઇ પવિત્ર કરાર ઉપર દાઝ ઉતારશે. પાછા ફર્યા પછી તે પવિત્ર કરારને છોડીને જનાર પ્રત્યે દયા રાખશે.

Daniel 11:33
લોકોમાં જે જ્ઞાની હશે તેઓ ઘણા લોકોને સમજાવશે, જો કે, થોડા દિવસ સુધી તો તેમણે આગ, તરવાર, કેદ અને લૂંટફાટનો ભોગ થવું પડશે.
