Daniel 8:1
રાજા બેલ્શાસ્સારના રાજ્યકાળના ત્રીજા વષેર્ મને દાનિયેલને અગાઉ જે સંદર્શન થયું હતું, તેના જેવું બીજું સંદર્શન થયું.

બાબિલના રાજા બેલ્શાસ્સારના રાજ્યશાસનના પ્રથમ વર્ષ દરમ્યાન દાનિયેલ સૂતો હતો ત્યારે, એક રાત્રે તેને સ્વપ્ન આવ્યું અને તેણે મનચક્ષુથી અનેક સંદર્શનો જોયાં. પછી તેણે તે સ્વપ્ન લખી નાખ્યું. તેણે જે જોયું તે આ પ્રમાણે છે:

“હું દાનિયેલ, મેં જે જોયું તેનાથી મૂંઝવણમાં પડી ગયો અને ખૂબ વ્યાકુળ બની ગયો, તેનાથી હું ભયભીત થઇ ગયો.

“અહીં એ સંદર્શનના વર્ણનનો અંત આવે છે. હું, દાનિયેલ, આ બધા વિચારોથી ખૂબ ફિક્કો અને ભયભીત થઇ ગયો. પણ મેં જે જોયું હતું, તે મેં કોઇને પણ કહ્યું નહિ, હૃદયમાં જ સંઘરી રાખ્યું.”
Daniel 8:15
હું દાનિયેલ આ સંદર્શન જોતો હતો અને તેનો અર્થ સમજવા પ્રયત્ન કરતો હતો ત્યારે એકાએક જોઉં છું તો એક પુરુષ જેવી આકૃતિ મારી સામે ઊભી હતી.
Daniel 9:2
તેની કારકિદીર્ના પ્રથમ વર્ષમાં; હું દાનિયેલ, યહોવાની વાણી યમિર્યા પ્રબોધકની પાસે આવી હતી, તે પ્રમાણે યરૂશાલેમ 70 વર્ષ સુધી ખંઢેર રહેશે. તે ઉપરથી તે 70 વર્ષનો વિચાર પવિત્રશાસ્ત્ર પરથી સમજ્યો.

તે વખતે, “હું દાનિયેલ ત્રણ અઠવાડિયાઁનો શોક પાળતો હતો.
Daniel 10:7
“હું દાનિયેલ એકલો આ મહાન સંદર્શન જોઇ શકતો હતો. મારી સાથેના માણસો તે જોઇ શકતા નહોતા, તેમ છતાં તેઓ ભયભીત થઇને નાસી ગયા અને સંતાઇ ગયાં.
Daniel 11:4
પણ તેનો સૂર્ય મધ્યાહને તપતો હશે ત્યાં જ તેનું રાજ્ય છિન્નભિન્ન થઇ જશે અને ચારે દિશામાં વહેંચાઇ જશે. પણ તે એના વંશજોને નહિ મળે, તે એના વંશજો કરતા બીજાના જ હાથમાં જઇ પડશે, પણ તેઓ એના જેવી સત્તા ભોગવવા નહિ પામે.
