આથી રણશિંગુ, શરણાઇ, વીણા, સિતાર, સારંગી વગેરે વાજિંત્રોનો નાદ સાંભળતા જ જુદી જુદી પ્રજાઓના અને જુદી જુદી ભાષા બોલનારા બધા લોકોએ રાજા નબૂખાદનેસ્સારે સ્થાપન કરેલી સોનાના પૂતળાની સાષ્ટાંગ નમસ્કાર કરીને પૂજા કરી.

તે પ્રાણી માથામાંનું એક મરણતોલ ઘાયલ થયેલા જેવું દેખાયું. પણ આ પ્રાણઘાતક ઘા રૂઝાઈ ગયો હતો. દુનિયાના બધા લોકો નવાઇ પામ્યા હતા. અને તેઓ બધા તે પ્રાણી પાછળ ગયા.

તું જે પ્રાણી જુએ છે તે એક વખત જીવતું હતું પણ તે પ્રાણી હમણા જીવતું નથી. પણ તે પ્રાણી જીવતુ થશે તે અસીમ ઊંડાણમાંથી બહાર નીકળશે અને વિનાશના માર્ગે જશે. પૃથ્વી પર જે લોકો રહે છે. તે આશ્ચર્ય પામશે. કારણ કે તે એક વખત જીવતું હતું, હમણા તે જીવતું નથી. પણ ફરીથી આવશે. પણ આ તે લોકો છે કે જેમના નામો દુનિયાના આરંભથી જીવનનાં પુસ્તકમાં લખેલા નથી.

પણ તે શ્વાપદ પકડાયું, અને તેની સમક્ષ જે જૂઠા પ્રબોધકો ચમત્કારો દેખાડીને શ્વાપદની છાપ લેનારાઓને તથા તેની મૂર્તિ પૂજનારાઓને ભમાવ્યા હતા, તે જૂઠા પ્રબોધક અને તે પ્રાણીને ગંધકથી બળનારા અગ્નિના સરોવરમાં જીવતા ફેંકી દેવામાં આવ્યાં.
