Daniel 11:5
“‘દક્ષિણનો રાજા બળવાન થશે; પણ તેના સરદારોમાંનો એક તેના કરતાં બળવાન થશે, ને સત્તા ભોગવશે. તેની સત્તા મહાન થશે. અને તેનું રાજ્ય પણ મોટું હશે.

“‘તે દિવસોમાં ઘણા, દક્ષિણના રાજાની વિરૂદ્ધ બળવો કરશે અને તારા લોકોમાંના કેટલાક તોફાની માણસો પણ એમને સાંપડેલા કોઇ સંદર્શનને સાચું પાડવા માટે બળવો પોકારશે, પણ નિષ્ફળ જશે.

“‘પછી તે પોતાની બધી શકિત અને હિંમત ભેગી કરીને મિસરના રાજાની સામે એક મોટું સૈન્ય ઊભું કરશે. પણ મિસરનો રાજા પણ એક મોટું અને બળવાન સૈન્ય ઊભું કરશે. પણ તે ટકી નહિ શકે, કારણકે તેની વિરૂદ્ધ કરેલાં કાવતરાં સફળ થશે.

“‘પછી તેના અંતના સમયે દક્ષિણનો મિસરનો રાજા ફરીથી તેની ઉપર હુમલો કરશે. અને ઉત્તરનો અરામનો રાજા રથો, ઘોડેસવારો અને અનેક વહાણો લઇને તેના ઉપર પ્રચંડ વંટોળની જેમ ઘસી આવશે અને તેના પ્રદેશમાં દાખલ થઇ, પૂરના પાણીની જેમ બધે ફરી વળી પાર નીકળી જશે.
Daniel 11:3
ત્યારપછી ગ્રીસમાં એક શકિતશાળી રાજા ઊભો થશે. તે વિશાળ રાજ્ય ઉપર સત્તા ભોગવશે અને પોતાની ઇચ્છામાં આવે તેમ કરશે.
Daniel 11:8
વળી, તે મિસર પાછો ફરશે ત્યારે તેઓની ધાતુની મૂર્તિઓ અને મૂર્તિઓને અપેર્લાં સોનાના તથા ચાંદીના અસંખ્ય પાત્રો પોતાની સાથે લઇ જશે. અને થોડાં વર્ષ સુધી તે ઉત્તરના રાજા ઉપર હુમલો કરવાનું બંધ રાખશે.
