Acts 7:11
પરંતુ આખા મિસર અને કનાનની બધી જમીન સુકાઇ ગઇ. જેથી ત્યાં અનાજ ઊગ્યું નહિ. આથી લોકોને ખૂબ સંકટો સહન કરવા પડ્યા. આપણા પૂર્વજો ખાવા માટે કંઈ મેળવી શક્યા નહિ.

Genesis 47:13
આખા દેશમાં આકરો દુકાળ હોવાથી કયાંય અનાજ મળતું ન હતું. મિસર તથા કનાન દેશ હેરાન-પરેશાન થઈ ગયા હતા.
