Acts 15:22

યહૂદા અને સિલાસ પણ પ્રબોધકો હતા. તેઓએ ભાઈઓને મદદ કરવા ઘણી વાતો કહી અને તેઓને વધારે મજબૂત બનાવ્યા.
Acts 17:4
કેટલાએક યહૂદિઓના મનનું સમાધાન થયું અને તેઓ પાઉલ અને સિલાસ સાથે જોડાયા. સભાસ્થાનમાં ત્યાં કેટલાએક ગ્રીક માણસો પણ હતા જેઓ સાચા દેવની ભક્તિ કરતા હતા. ત્યાં કેટલીએક મહત્વની સ્ત્રીઓ પણ હતી, આ લોકોમાંના ઘણા પાઉલ અને સિલાસ સાથે જોડાયા.

તે જ રાત્રે વિશ્વાસીઓએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને બરૈયા નામના બીજા એક શહેરમાં મોકલ્યા. તેઓ ત્યાં આવીને બરૈયામાં યહૂદિઓના સભાસ્થાનમાં ગયા.

તેથી વિશ્વાસીઓએ પાઉલને ઝડપથી સમુદ્ર કિનારે મોકલી દીધો. પરંતુ સિલાસ અને તિમોથી બરૈયામાં રહ્યા.

સિલાસ અને તિમોથી મકદોનિયાથી કરિંથમાં પાઉલ પાસે આવ્યા. આ પછી પાઉલે તેનો બોધો સમય લોકોને સુવાર્તા કહેવામાં અર્પણ કર્યો. તેણે યહૂદિઓને બતાવ્યું કે ઈસુ એ જ ખ્રિસ્ત છે.

લગભગ મધરાતે પાઉલ અને સિલાસ પ્રાર્થના કરતા હતા અને દેવના સ્તોત્ર ગાતાં હતા. બીજા કેદીઓ તેઓને સાંભળતા હતાં.

જે માણસોની માલિકી આ સેવિકા છોકરી પર હતી તેઓએ આ જોયું. આ માણસોએ જાણ્યું કે હવે તેઓ પૈસા બનાવવા માટે તેણીનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકશે નહિ. તેથી તેઓએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને પકડ્યા અને શહેરની સભાની જગ્યામાં ઘસડી લાવ્યા. શહેરના અધિકારીઓ ત્યાં હતા.

પ્રેરિતોએ બે માણસોને સમૂહની આગળ ઊભા કર્યા. એક હતો યૂસફ બર્સબા, તે યુસ્તસના નામથી ઓળખતો અને બીજો માણસ હતો માથ્થિયાસ.

પછી કેટલાક માણસો યહૂદિયાથી અંત્યોખમાં આવ્યા. તેઓએ બિનયહૂદિ ભાઈઓને શીખવવાનું શરૂ કર્યુ. “જો તમે સુન્નત નહિ કરાવો તો તમને બચાવી શકાશે નહિ. મૂસાએ આપણને આમ કરવાનું શીખવ્યું છે.”

તે સમૂહે આ માણસો સાથે પત્ર મોકલ્યો. પત્રમાં કહ્યું છે:યરૂશાલેમમાં વસતા પ્રેરિતો, વડીલો અને તમારા ભાઈઓ તરફથી અંત્યોખ, સિરિયા અને કિલીકિયાની મંડળીના બિનયહૂદિઓમાંથી ખ્રિસ્તના શિષ્યો થયેલા ભાઈઓને કુશળતા:વહાલા ભાઈઓ,
Acts 15:25
અમે બધા કેટલાક માણસોને પસંદ કરીને તમારી પાસે મોકલવા માટે સંમત થયા છીએ, તેઓ અમારા પ્રિય મિત્રો પાઉલ અને બાર્નાબાસ સાથે રહેશે.
