2 Samuel 14:15
માંરા મુરબ્બી, રાજાને હું એ કહેવા માંટે આવી છું, કારણ કે લોકોએ મને ગભરાવી અને કહ્યું કે, ‘જો હું રાજાને કહું; તો માંરે જે કાંઇ તેની પાસે કરાવવું હશે તેઓ કદાચ માંરી માંગણી પૂરી કરશે.

| this | הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
| thing | אֲדֹנִי֙ | ʾădōniy | uh-doh-NEE |
| unto | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| my lord | הַדָּבָ֣ר | haddābār | ha-da-VAHR |
| the king, | הַזֶּ֔ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| because is it | כִּ֥י | kî | kee |
| the people | יֵֽרְאֻ֖נִי | yērĕʾunî | yay-reh-OO-nee |
| afraid: me made have | הָעָ֑ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| and thy handmaid | וַתֹּ֤אמֶר | wattōʾmer | va-TOH-mer |
| said, | שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֙ | šipḥātĕkā | sheef-ha-teh-HA |
| now will I | אֲדַבְּרָה | ʾădabbĕrâ | uh-da-beh-RA |
| speak | נָּ֣א | nāʾ | na |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the king; | הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
| be may it | אוּלַ֛י | ʾûlay | oo-LAI |
| that the king | יַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה | yaʿăśe | ya-uh-SEH |
| will perform | הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
