યહૂદાની આવી સ્થિતી એક જ કારણથી થઈ હતી.

| his sight, | פָּנָ֑יו | pānāyw | pa-NAV |
| for the sins | בְּחַטֹּ֣את | bĕḥaṭṭōt | beh-ha-TOTE |
| Manasseh, of | מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה | mĕnašše | meh-na-SHEH |
| according to all | כְּכֹ֖ל | kĕkōl | keh-HOLE |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
