યાબેશના પુત્ર શાલ્લૂમે તેની વિરૂદ્ધ કાવતરું કર્યું. ઇબ્લામ ખાતે તેને મારી નાખ્યો અને તેના પછી તે પોતે ગાદીએ આવ્યો.

રમાલ્યાનો પુત્ર પેકાહ તેનો સેનાપતિ હતો, તેણે તેની સામે બળવો કર્યો અને કાવતરું કર્યું; જેમાં તેણે સમરૂનનાં રાજમહેલના કિલ્લામાં 50 માણસોને મારી નાંખ્યા. તેણે અને ગિલયાદના 50 માણસોએ પકાહ્યાને, આગોર્બ અને આયેર્હને પણ ત્યાં મારી નાખ્યા. પછી પોતે ગાદી પર બેઠો.

યહૂદાના રાજા ઉઝિઝયાના પુત્ર યોથામના શાસનના વીસમે વષેર્ એલાહના પુત્ર હોશિયાએ રમાલ્યાના પુત્ર પેકાહ વિરૂદ્ધ કાવત્રું કરી, તેને મારી નાખ્યો અને પોતે રાજા બન્યો.
Hosea 1:4
યહોવાએ તેને કહ્યું, “તેનું નામ ‘યિઝએલ’ પાડ, કારણકે થોડા જ સમયમાં હું યેહૂના કુટુંબના માણસો પર બદલો લઇશ અને તેના વંશજોને યિઝએલ ખીણમાં તેણે જે રકતપાત કર્યો હતો તેના માટે સજા કરીશ.
Amos 7:9
ઇસહાકનાઁ વંશજોના થાનકો ખેદાનમેદાન થઇ જશે. ઇસ્રાએલનાઁ પવિત્રસ્થાનો ખંડેર થઇ જશે. યરોબઆમના વંશને હું તરવારને ઘાટ ઉતારીશ.”
