તેણે યહોવાને નારાજ કરે તેવો કામો કાર્યા હતા, જો કે તેના કાર્યો એ છેક એના માંતા પિતાના કાર્યો જેવા નહોતા, કારણ, એણે એના પિતાએ ઊભુ કરેલુ બઆલનું પૂતળું પૂજાસ્થળેથી કાઢી નાખ્યુ હતું.
