2 Chronicles 20:10
“અને હવે જો, આ આમ્મોનીઓ, મોઆબીઓ અને અદોમીઓ આવ્યા છે. અમે ઇસ્રાએલીઓ મિસરમાંથી આવતા હતા ત્યારે તમે અમને એ લોકોના દેશમાં દાખલ થવા દીધા નહોતા એટલે અમે એક તરફ વળી ગયા, અને એ લોકોનો નાશ ન કર્યો.

| whom | אֲ֠שֶׁר | ʾăšer | UH-sher |
| thou wouldest not | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| let | נָתַ֤תָּה | nātattâ | na-TA-ta |
| Israel | לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ | lĕyiśrāʾēl | leh-yees-ra-ALE |
| invade, | לָב֣וֹא | lābôʾ | la-VOH |
| when they came out | בָהֶ֔ם | bāhem | va-HEM |
| of the land | בְּבֹאָ֖ם | bĕbōʾām | beh-voh-AM |
| of Egypt, | מֵאֶ֣רֶץ | mēʾereṣ | may-EH-rets |
| but | מִצְרָ֑יִם | miṣrāyim | meets-RA-yeem |
| they turned | כִּ֛י | kî | kee |
| from | סָ֥רוּ | sārû | SA-roo |
| them, and destroyed | מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם | mēʿălêhem | may-uh-lay-HEM |
| them not; | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| הִשְׁמִידֽוּם׃ | hišmîdûm | heesh-mee-DOOM |
