પલિસ્તીઓએ ઇસ્રાએલ સામે વ્યૂહ ગોઠવ્યો, યુદ્ધ જામ્યું. ઇસ્રાએલીઓ હાર્યા.પલિસ્તીઓએ લગભગ 4,000 ઇસ્રાએલીઓને રણભૂમિ ઉપર કાપી નાખ્યા.
