1 Samuel 25:1
થોડા સમય બાદ શમુએલનું અવસાન થયું. સર્વ ઇસ્રાએલીઓ તેના દફન માંટે ભેગા થયા અને તેના અવસાન પર તેઓએ શોક જાહેર કર્યો, અને રામાંમાં તેને ઘરમાં દફનાવ્યો. એ પછી દાઉદ પારાનના રણમાં ચાલ્યો ગયો.
